• consider a career in Queensland's growing energy workforce – visit Energy Jobs to find vacant apprenticeships and traineeships
• contact stakeholders of the apprenticeship and traineeship system, such as training organisations, local TAFEs and Apprentice Connect Australia Provider (Provider), who may have details of employment opportunities
• contact the Apprentice Employment Network to find a group training organisation, who place you with different employers but look after your training and wages
• directly contact local businesses
• use personal networks – ask friends, colleagues, parents and relatives.
