While we can't find you an employer to hire you as an apprentice or trainee, we can give you some ways to look for a potential employer:
- visit specific apprenticeship/traineeship job boards
- use job search and government vacancies websites – enter a job title with 'apprentice' or 'trainee' and your chosen industry to narrow down results

- consider a career in Queensland's growing energy workforce – visit Energy Jobs to find vacant apprenticeships and traineeships
- contact stakeholders of the apprenticeship and traineeship system, such as training organisations, local TAFEs and Apprentice Connect Australia Provider (Provider), who may have details of employment opportunities
- contact the Apprentice Employment Network to find a group training organisation, who place you with different employers but look after your training and wages
- directly contact local businesses
- use personal networks – ask friends, colleagues, parents and relatives.
